Cimalpes Courchevel Moriond (1650) — Local services in Albertville

The agency is located in the village center next to the residence where our apartment was located. Check-in process was fast and they gave us some beauty products from nuxe and a souvenir. The apartment was nice and renovated, towels and sheets were from good quality and they also provided us some essential goods and cleaning appliaces - salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, dishwashing machine detergent, sponge, cleaning cloth etc. The apartment accomodated 4 people but we thought that for 4 it would be to small (we were only 2). Also we were counting with an expresso machine for coffee (available on the description of the apartment when booking) and apparently the owner took it without notifying the agency (of course this is not Cimalpes fault). The only suggestion I can give is to show clients during the online booking process the ammout of local taxes they will need to pay, we were not expecting to pay anything more after booking on the website and we received an email asking for local taxes that had never been indicated before in the entire process - this could make things a little more transparent. I would recommend Cimalpes and I hope to book with them...

The chalet was beautiful and the housekeeper was brilliant. However, the staff from Cimpales wasn't very helpful. First of all, we weren't told at all how the ski passes work. There was no advantage of pre-booking and we weren't explained the price difference between the basic Courchevel Pass or the extended 3 valley pass. Turns out it was a simple 20+ euros difference between the two options for a 3 day pass. We ended up paying 45+ Euros just to upgrade on the last day. We were a bit upset because no info was provided for us to make a smarter decision. We also needed help cancelling meal reservations and the representative texted me basically saying "you can call them yourself, they speak English". Not really happy with this...

Chalet was great and the support from Cimalpes was good generally. .But, I would definitely not use their concierge service again. I asked them to organise lift tickets and ski hire. Tickets were organised without a problem.For the ski hire for 3 full sets and 3 partial sets I was never provided a quote before arriving. Gear was of good quality but not great. When I came to return the gear I was charged over €4,000. Well over twice what any other rental place in Moriond charges for their absolute best gear. I complained and was told they would look into it. Then they told me they were speaking to the rental place and would get back to. They never did. I followed them up and my messages were ignored. Incredibly poor...
