I thought the station was modern and spotless. I don't understand the bad reviews regarding the public transport to the city center. It is well connected. Once you arrive at the station, walk up to the escalator and look for the "Navette Gare" signs. Follow the signs directing you to the shuttle bus stop (it should be on the right hand side upon exit - takes 2 minutes to the bus stop). I checked the Moovit App and the frequency of the bus are almost every 15 to 20 minutes. If you are not in a hurry you could just wait for the next one if the bus is packed. The bus deploy is an articulated bus with luggage space. The journey to the tram station is only 8 minutes nonstop. Once you reach Place de France , you could easily spot the tram (Montpellier - Mosson direction) that can take you directly to the city centre or Gare Saint-Roch. It only takes 17 minutes to reach Gare Saint-Roch. The fare is only 1.90 Euro to cover the whole journey. The only frustration here is the ticket machine. It can only accept the exact amounts of coins. If you insert 2 Euro coin, the machine will not disperse any ticket or it will go error. The best way is to pay via credit/debit card. From my experience, the train ticket prices usually are much cheaper if arrived at this station compared to the main station (Gare...
