Sehr schönes Ausflugsgebiet egal ob einheimische oder Touristen. Man kann hier sehr schön spazieren gehen oder auf der Hängebrücke das Geschehen auf der Mulde beobachten. Auch schön für Hunde, die dort an einer flachen Stelle baden gehen können. Ein Behälter mit Hundekotbeutel hat die Stadt auch aufgegangen um das die Hinterlassenschaften hoffentlich entfernt werden. Parkplatz mit Parkautomat ist auch vorhanden, aber man kann sich die Gebühr sparen wenn man in einer Seitenstraße parkt. Nur als kleiner Tip gegenüber dem Gymnasium und dann ein wenig zu Fuß zur Mulde gehen. Ebenfalls nicht weit der Hängebrücke der Anleger für eine Muldenrundfahrt mit der Barkasse. Einkehr auch möglich in dem nicht weit entfernten Restaurant am Anleger. Dann viel Spaß...

Die Hängebrücke befindet sich unterhalb der Gattersburg. Die Burg ist Hotel. Die Brücke ist per Optik sehr schön und beim Gang über die Brücke sollte man sich ab und zu umdrehen, denn man hat einen wunderbaren Blick zur Gattersburg. Die Burg zusammen mit der blauen Brücke ist ein fotografisches Highlight. Von der Hängebrücke zur Pöppelmannbrücke kann man einen wunderschönen Weg am Ufer der Mulde entlang laufen. Er ist eben, also auch geeignet für Rollstuhlfahrer.
