Went in 3 times during winter in Dec 2024 during my visit to Munich. Can't believe such a publicly funded place exists. Due to the limited wall height, the routes are set VERY creatively, and are mostly transverse routes. Some of the foot holds are worn / dirty compared to private paid gyms because people climb using regular shoes too. But overall, it is still very well thought out, well lit 24/7, and of a good quality routes. Very comfortable to climb in regularly and varied enough to improve regardless what level you are. Still cannot believe this place exists. Munchener's can be proud such a project exists in their city. Definitely a must visit for climbers.

My son and I spent about an hour and a half here on a Wednesday morning. It was really fun. The setting makes creative use of the short wall height in the passage with a lot of traverses, and some that cross the roof. The rating is a simple 1-6, and is very accessible for climbers of all levels. I'm a v4-5 climber at my home gym and I was able to do most of the 5s here. It is definitely worth a visit for something different than your typical climbing gym.
