Jackie Chan serves traditional dishes from various parts of China and dim sum (only a few options). There is even Peking duck on the menu; however it must be ordered at least one day in advance. Accessing Jackie Chan can be done by public transportation, cycling or car with street parking available. When weather permits, outdoor seating is available otherwise the indoor seating option ifs comfortable if not slightly dated. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. And as for the food, the wanton soup had at least four wantons in it (relatively a lot considering the size of the soup) while the shrimp dumpling dough felt a bit soggy. The Mapo tofu was nicely flavored and was a decent portion. The aubergine with tofu hit the spot, coming in a dish that was heated by flame to keep it warm. And to finish it off the fried sesame balls were generously filled with red bean paste. Overall the experience was very positive and the food delicious and filling. The reason for the rating is the lack of anything that stood out - everything was very good as expected having read about the restaurant in the newspaper. I would definitely return especially to try the...
Read moreThe worst and most greedy service I have ever experienced. The waiter even said “don’t get my nerves”. The comment was given based on a bill of 300 euros for 4 persons, including 25€ of tips, 175€ food of that day, 100€ of the drinks from the last time, which was forgotten by the waiter and we proactively asked to pay. We as guests showed the best kindness we can do. Black list! To the inhonest reply below, If a restaurant never accounted drinks in the bill, but counted as “trink Geld”, I can imagine drinks can be forgotten by waitress and ask 3 months later without any proof of the consumption. There might be motivations behind as well. The question is, besides the drink bill 3 months ago, 100€ in UST class B instead of A, do we need to pay the drinks of yesterday once again? It was a bottle of lugana and a sparkling water. I hope the 66 euros of Tipp( w/o ust) can cover them. to the waiter who said” don’t get my nerves”: we have been always very nice customers. but if you made your own mistakes and being offending during the whole discussion, as well as lying in the reply, you simply have to apologise and be responsible for a systematic mistake shown...
Read moreThe place has authentic Chinese food. As far I have tried gebraten noodles, minifruhlingsroll, la zi ji All turned out to be super tasty The la zi ji has unique flavour with black and red dried peppers with some art The gebraten noodles are bit oily but also tasty The minifruhling comes with sweet and spicy sauce which is intriguing, did not find it else where Everything is good and affordable As compared to price the quantity is all good
Update - visited back for some good food - disclaimer: spicy means red chilli 🌶️ which we had to separate from noodles as they were not tasting well. This time the food...
