Südbad - Munich — Local services in Munich

I can't believe how rude the staff are. First, i was only there to supervise my daughtet while she was swimming but was told i still had to pay full price. Fine. Then I get into the pool area and am advised by a male staff member that i can't be near the pool area with my Nike Free Runs on. Struggling to understand what he was saying, he thought that by yelling at me, i would understand him better. Embarrased beyond belief, I take off my shoes and i'm barefoot. I sit down again. 5 mins later a second male staff member comes along and tells me i can only sit indoors if I'm in my bikini otherwise i have to sit outdoors. He at least tries to speak English but is of the same mentality that by yelling i'll understand him better. At this stage, i've had enough but I manage to keep my cool, collect my daughter and simply leave the venue. Shame on the female staff member that stood by and watched this happen. You sold me my ticket knowing i was supervising and never told me about the no shoes and no clothes policy. Judging by other comments, the only people committing any fraud...

Speaking purely from perspective of a mom with a baby in summer. You must leave your stroller in the front area and cannot go straight outside, which I find a real disadvantage compared to other swimming pools. There were no strollers there to use either, even though I was told they had them but were all used, there were actually none in sight…plan to carry all your things with baby in arms through the dressing rooms, past the showering area, to the other side of the indoor pools in order to get outside. There is a nice and warm baby pool both inside and outside which is a plus. Also a kids pool inside, lap pool and free swim area, and the warmed whirlpool which goes to the outside. Gets quite crowded in the afternoon. There is one changing table inside, but otherwise no place to comfortably put a mobile baby while you also get changed, the dressing rooms are quite small....

Das Bad ist gut mit der U-Bahn zu erreichen (U6 Harras). Parkplätze gibt es leider kaum. Der Preis ist auch okay (4,40 Kurzschwimmer) Personal ist ok. Mal sitzt jemand nettes an der Kasse und mal hat man Pech…leider. Umkleidekabinen gibt es nicht genug. Die sind wirklich oft von ganzen Familien besetzt und es dauert ewig bis die mal umgezogen sind. Da ist echt nervig, weil man durch die Kabinen muss um ins Schwimmbad zu gelangen. Sauber sind sie aber. Das gilt auch für die Duschen und Toiletten.

Das Bad selber ist echt schön. Ein kleines Planschbecken für Babies, Kinderbecken, Schwimmerbecken und ein Außenbecken. Allerdings sind viele Becken total voll mit Familien und unbeaufsichtigten Kindern. Die laufen überall rum und springen dauernd vom Beckenrand. Selbst im Schwimmerbereich wimmelt es von Eltern mit ihren Kindern. Oft auch unbeaufsichtigte Kinder, die kaum schwimmen können oder dauernd einem Schwimmer in die Bahn kommen. Dieses ständige tauchen…eine Katastrophe. Ich war jetzt 3 mal die Woche (seit Mitte September) und kein mal konnte man in Ruhe schwimmen. Dauernd hat man irgendwelche Kinder im Schwimmerbecken, obwohl es ausreichend andere Kinderbecken gibt. Da wird getaucht und gesprungen…Ein Wunder das noch keiner verletzt wurde. Weil die Bademeister haben ihren festen Platz in der Ecke vom Schwimmerbecken. Da sitzen sie dann zu dritt rum, auf ihren bunten Schwimmbrettern. Aber was sagen…keine Chance. Das muss man dann schon selber machen. Sorry, ein Kleinkind mit Schwimmflügeln hat einfach nichts im Schwimmerbecken verloren. Da gibt es genug andere Becken. Es wäre auch schön wenn man im Außenbecken nicht dauernd von springenden Kindern nass gemacht wird. Verstehe einfach nicht warum da mal nicht was gesagt wird? Auch dieses ständige fotografieren nervt! Es ist doch verboten? Warum passen die Bademeister nicht besser auf? Personal ist ja genug vorhanden? Ich bin ehrlich gesagt richtig froh, wenn Pullach wieder aufmacht.

Sonst hätte das Bad echt 4-5...
