Kumasamba La Bamba — Local services in Accra

Nice setting, one of the beach sites in a Accra that you don't have to pay an entrance fee. The place is cozy. You can either opt to seat at under the structure they have put up or closer to the sea to enjoy some nice breeze. A very good place to have a hang out or to come alone to, when you want to be alone. However one problem I have with the place was roaming of pigs around the beach. During my visit I noticed that pigs were roaming along the beach, leaving along their excretes and droppings.. this distracts from the ambience of the place. Because of this one will have to be careful not to step on anything when taking a stroll...

Very nice beach bar, with good seats, a washroom and music that's not to loud. The food is good and the prices are ok. Downstairs you have umbrella's with tables you can sit comfortable and upstairs you have a nice terrace with sea view.

The only problem is the pollution. Depending on the wind, you sometimes smell trash and poo in stead of fresh sea breeze. I have been there and the sea was crowded with those nasty black plastic small bags and you did smell poo, but I have also been there and the sea was looking clean and you did smell...

This is one of my favorite places to go de - stress. The sea breeze, calm atmosphere and cool music gives me the peace to center myself. Drinks prices are same as most beaches with malt and Alvaro costing 6cedis on holidays and 5cedis on normal days (weird...I know). Favorite food to get here is fried yam with grilled chicken. Although a bit expensive, it tastes good and the wait time is cool. Finally: I can say in my opinion, its one of the quiet beaches in Accra clean enough for swimming and safe also...
