Koumos Stone Village - A Cultural and Artistique Masterpiece!

If you love stones (like me).... then visit Koumos the stone village. You will feel it in your heart and your soul.
When walking around among all the houses and surroundings built up from thousand of beautiful stones I got all emotional.
The craft, ideas and skills behind the construction of buildings, walls, tables, benches etc. and the details on the buildings and everything else are amazing! There is obviously a very creative, sensitive and very talented and skilled brain behind this masterpiece.

Koumos is worth a visit.

For the last hour we were the last couple there and were treated to a young guy playing his Mandolin. Can't remember the name of the chap that served us through the evening but a massive thank you for making our last night in Crete one to...
