Souvlike — Local services in Municipality of Kos

Γειά, Θανάσης και Μαρία!! We have visited Souvlike many times now, with my mum and dad and now for the first time with my brother this year. We were all given a warm welcome back, as always, with great friendliness, service and fantastic food!! Everything about Souvlike in Kefalos is fantastic, the setting in a great village is brilliant, the food; always hot, tasty and plentiful and the service is exceptional!! During our 15 day Stay at Maritsa Studios in Kampos, Kefalos, we visited Souvlike many times ordering take away over the phone on a number of occasions with the food being exceptional !!(Ευχαριστώ πολύ για το ρετσίνα Βασιλική και κέικ και καρπούζι, πάρα πολύ νόστιμη!!) We visited on our last day before heading to the airport and was served the greatest food before our flight. Hot pita breads, pork pita gyros, gyros plate, cabbage salad, homemade potatoes and a pork gyros with the Ουγγαρία/Σάλτσα Βουδαπέστης (which my brother loved and looks forward to next time!!) and of course Retsina Vasiliki and Retsina Malamatina!! Whole experience was just perfect! We chose pork Souvlaki me pittas and they were AMAZING. Flavourful, juicy and better than in 4 other restaurants we tried. Chips were good too. Can recommend pork spare ribs as well, very tasty.

Craved for a good olive oil and they got it! Poured quite a lot of it on Tzaziki plate :)

Only wished Tzaziki was a little bit more garlicky but we were nicely satisfied overall!

You really have to go there.

Update: Satisfied second time around. Unluckily they were already out of roasted chicken that we craved to taste.

Didn't realise they make homemade fries until we ordered extra. Much better than elsewhere!

This time I took lamb Souvlaki me pita which has real lamb meat with just right sheep flavour.

One ordered pork Souvlaki plate. They were burned bitter this time actually. Not sure what happened, might have been a fluke considering they were excellent the first time. Dissapointing.

Pork Giros plate was excellent! Haven't had better giros yet. Very nice.

When you order Recina wine you get a quality one. One of few restaurants that offer this variant...

This is our favourite grill house in all of greece.We came in may earlier this year and found this hidden gem and have returned now and food as good as ever and the family that run this are lovely. A very short walk from the main area of village, it's definitely worth finding, the food is absolutely amazing, and with proper homemade chips and the tastiest meat ever, and prices are extremely good value. Has really nice seating area outside to watch village life go by. Definitely worth the long walk from Maritsas studios last night, but they do deliver if you...
