Kefalosbay Residence Apartments — Hotel in Municipality of Kos

All we can do is reiterate the glowing reviews already posted about the residence. The location is wonderful: its elevated position means that there is a beautiful view across the bay to the islands of Giali and Nisyros, and the distant Turkish coast, both from the apartments and from the pool. (It also means that if you are walking, either up to the village or down to the sea front, there will always be an 'uphill' element to help counteract the copious amounts of food available in the tavernas…)||||The beautifully landscaped complex is so quiet and relaxing. Costas and Lionel are the perfect hosts, providing all the information you may need about the local area, from recommended tavernas and beaches to insider tips about local places of interest. We felt quite smug knowing where to find the key to the monastery at Zini when we walked there one day ! Together with Christina, who comes to clean and change linen every other day, the 'on site team' is better than you could find almost anywhere. We stayed in the Apelis apartment on the ground floor, which has a lovely new covered patio area next to it, but each of the four apartments seems to have its own good points. ||||The surrounding area is also beautiful - Kefalos is at the wilder end of the island, away from the main tourist areas, and has many quiet beaches, in some cases accessible only by fairly precarious tracks. We were glad to have a 4x4 to be able to explore the area. There are also opportunities to go for a hike, to enjoy the surroundings at closer quarters. Kos is not a large island, so it’s easy to get anywhere without too long a journey. ||||We enjoyed exploring the western end of the island, both on foot & by car, and also visited Kos town and the castles at Antimachea and Palio Pyli.||||It's also possible to take a 3 islands cruise (including Pserimos & Kalymnos), and a trip across to the fascinating volcanic island of Nysiros. ||||All in all, we would highly recommend a stay in Kos, and particularly at Kefalosbay Residence. You can be sure of a warm welcome and of being well looked after during your stay. We didn’t want to leave, and would love to return...

Ciao lettori....||Siamo una coppia e siamo stati al Kefalosbay Residence da poco, per precisone l’ultima settimana di giugno. Ho trovato per caso, navigando su internet, una foto del Residence e da subito entusiasta mi sono piombato alla ricerca di informazioni sul posto. Uno dei primi suggerimenti era proprio TripAdvisor e sono rimasto da subito sbalordito nel vedere le 204 recensioni tutte con il max punteggio “Eccelente” . Premetto che per lavoro viaggio molto, da una parte all’altra del mondo, conoscendo e vivendo in hotel svariati. Ma poi arrivi qui al KEFALOSBAY RESIDENCE, un incanto da dove si può godere uno dei più bei panorami di Kos, o meglio della baia di Kefalos, una località tranquilla ma allo stesso tempo vivace ed autentica...dal nostro curatissimo appartamento non si perdeva neanche il minimo particolare, una vista mozzafiato. I mille colori del tramonto, il profumo del mare sottostante e delle svariate piante e fiori che abitano il giardino che ci cordandava. Appartamenti colorati, curati ed estremamente puliti, forniti di qualsiasi comfort, spaziosi ed arredati con gusto. Gli appartamenti sono 4 circondati da un giardino popolato da una vegetazione che viene quotidianamente curata. Relax e privacy in qualsiasi momento della giornata. Dotati di aria condizionata e di zanzariere. Vista mare sia dal salotto che dalla camera. Bagno con vasca e doccia molto spazioso. Armadio molto capiente. Nel cucinino bollitore, fornello, stoviglie e la macchina per il caffè espresso, dove le cialde vengono gentilmente offerte da Konsta e Lionel...assaggiate anche il loro miele 🍯...nel salottino un divano con due poltrone ed una tv digitale con molti canali disponibili...e poi il patio o il terrazzino per gli appartamenti al primo piano tutti dotati di tavolino e sedie per godersi il sole al tramonto mentre colora di rosso la piccola chiesetta di Ágios Stéfanos sull’isolotto di Kastrí. Una piscina in posizione strategica con ombrelloni, sdraio e teli a disposizione, una palestra all’aperto....non manca nulla al Kefalosbay Residence....e se non manca nulla è proprio grazie ai due proprietari di questo posto che ho deciso di chiamare “Paradiso”... Non è mai abbastanza un grazie per ringraziare Konsta e Lionel due persone di cuore....al nostro arrivo siamo stati accolti come se fossimo già buoni amici da anni... Konsta ci ha fatto sentire a casa nostra sin dal primo istante....di una disponibilità indescrivibile... una guida turistica, un compagno per fare quattro chiacchiere. Con loro abbiamo anche noleggiato l’ auto per l’intera settimana ad un prezzo veramente modico. Non esitate a visitare il loro sito internet anch’esso fatto alla perfezione. Tutto quello che viene riportato vi posso assicurare che è reale come lo sono le foto che vi raccontano la storia del Residence. ||Se avete voglia di passare un pó di tempo in un vero paradiso potete farlo .....andando qui al KEFALOSBAY RESIDENCE.||Ancora grazie e grazie a Konsta e Lionel. Al simpatico giardiniere che ogni mattino ci dava il buon giorno e alla moglie che si prendeva cura delle pulizie e dell’ordine del nostro appartamento e che di tanto in tanto ci preparava un caffè da bere in compagnia prima di iniziare il nostro viaggio giornaliero verso le spettacolari spiagge dell’isola di Kos. In questa zona troverete i litotari più belli, il mare dalle mille sfumature di blu ed azzurro, sabbia bianca e mare sempre calmo. ||Ciao Konstantinos e Lionel o meglio Arrivederci a presto.||||Emanuele e...
