I have been traveling for more than 15 years, using dozens of lounges during my journeys, and I have never experienced anything as terrible as what I encountered here
The receptionist, demonstrated a high level of discrimination toward me, as explained below After scanning my Visa Lounge QR code and confirming that I was eligible to enter, she asked me gently to only sit at the bar area- even though the entire lounge was nearly empty. When I asked for the reason, she stated that they were trying to keep space available for a group traveling in (first class) and when I asked agian what does it mean to restrict my seats I still don't understand she mentioned that again they are a (first class traveller).
Please let me know if they is any rule or protocol that makes you to control my seat when I am eligible to enter the lounge but not a first class traveller.
I found this response highly unprofessional and disrespectful. It is unacceptable to imply that certain guests are more important than others and to restrict my seating because of that. When I politely refused to comply, she attempted again to limit me to a table right beside the entrance, directly in front of her.
The most concerning part was that several guests arrived after me, and she welcomed them without imposing any restrictions or limitations similar to the ones placed on me.
This experience made me feel discriminated against, and it reflects poorly on your service standards. I strongly advise that your staff receive proper training on treating all guests with equal respect, especially those who are fully eligible to...

Traveling from Budapest to London, I had one of the worst experiences ever at the Plaza Premium Lounge in Budapest International Airport. It was an absolute nightmare. The lounge was overcrowded to a ridiculous extent – people were crammed everywhere, even sitting at the entrance door and on the floor. It felt more like a chaotic bus station than an airport lounge.
The hygiene was nonexistent. Surfaces were dirty, kitchen utilities are messed up, and there was no proper cleaning in sight. On top of that, the staff attitude was awful. Instead of trying to manage the situation or even just apologize for the mess, they acted like they couldn’t care less about the guests.
When we saw how terrible the conditions were, we immediately asked to cancel our check-in and leave. Shockingly, they refused to refund us! Absolutely unacceptable.
This was supposed to be a premium service, but it was nothing short of disgusting and disgraceful. I would never recommend this lounge to anyone. Save yourself the frustration and find somewhere else to wait for your flight.

Read moreWorst lounge experience I’ve ever had. I travel at least twice a month and have used lounge services all over the world — but this was by far the worst.
Upon entering, the staff immediately tried to dictate where I was “allowed” to sit. Since I was traveling alone, they insisted I could only use the most uncomfortable chairs, despite the lounge being almost empty (no more than 10 people inside).
I was coming from Ukraine for an important matter and had already been on the road for over 24 hours due to the closed airspace. I was exhausted and simply looking for a place to rest, but even that basic need wasn’t met.
To make matters worse, I passed passport control early just to use this lounge because their website advertised shower facilities — only to find out it costs €7.50 extra. Seriously?
People go to lounges to escape the constant monetization of everything — but here, even the essentials are being sold separately. Truly...
