I do t know what others rated it, but I am giving it 5 stars . It was going to be an international museum from 18th may 2017. It's bottom floor has coins of ikshwaku, satakarni, etc. It's top floor and bottom floor and compound has statues from 3rd century BC to 19th century AD. It's top floor has many paintings which were painted by professional painters like Thai Chug of 3rd century BC and also has modern art paintings. Read moreThe museum has artefacts dated around 3rdCen BC like pottery used by Bhikus of Buddhist monasteries, punch marked coins of ancient India and Satavahana era. It also has sculptures of Buddha and panels of limestones with Buddhist themes. They also had translated inscriptions hanged to wall which might interest you.The place is very rustic and need maintenance, you need to pay entry fee before visiting. Read more(Visited in August 2024) - It's a little museum that's located in Guntur city, near to the iconic AC college & Regional Library. Although there are very few sculptures and paintings on display, the staff were enthusiastic and warm and welcomed us. The museum is maintained by Government and has a lot of potential.
