After much research we finalized to enroll our 2.5yrs twins last year for pre-nursery program in Klay Whitefield main road center (little ahead of Forum Nexus mall) & it was a good decision. It is about 9 months now, right from enquiry, admission, day to day activities, PTM, feedbacks regarding kids, all interactions have been smooth. We had some special request related to few invoices initially for a corporate re-imbursement thing & that request was honored by the team. The front office admins/other staffs/ care takers/ teachers have been very courteous & understanding. I having girls, one of the thing I liked is all staffs are women except the main gate security guard. After admission, a session was taken by class teacher to understand our kids behavior, likes dislikes, mannerisms, particular words they use when they ask for something at home, , food habits, allergy etc & were noted down. I having twins had a consultation with the program co-ordinator Ramya ma'am whether to put them in same section or diff & other few points related to twins learning plan & her experience helped. Had prompt calls from school if kids were unwell any day, not eating somedays or any other issues. CCTV camera access is given which helps to keep an eye on kids. I found few extra pics / some videos of my kids in the regular updates done in their facebook page which I liked & have saved it :). This also gives a peek into what other activities are done in school. Regular activities are done in school. Regular festivals / functions are celebrated. They have monthly food subscription option as well in case someone needs. Another good thing is "Parking" area. You can drive inside main gate of school, park your car for 5 mins peacefully & drop your kids inside which is like a luxury in Bangalore. There are few other day cares lined up nearby & they donât have this. You have to park on main road hurry up to drop & comeback. No need to explain how difficult it is in Bangalore traffic :). During initial kids settlement period one of the parent is allowed to be inside campus for few hours. I was doing my office work from there (2-3hours) for say a month till kids settled. Overall good experience as of now. My kids daily recall their mam's at home now a days. Monika maam, Sangita Maam. Thank you dear maams for looking after our kids & showring your love. During one of my interaction with Monika maam regarding my younger one, she shared few points, hearing that I could sense that proper observation is being done as same subtle behavior my daughter shows at home & unless you are keen, one can't pick that up!
Improvements - Washroom for parents inside campus. During settlement period since we happen to spend few hours, or for any other reason also if you happen to use washroom, there is no option. Kids school pick up & drop facility have been stopped post covid. If this can be resumed, it will be a great help. The child teacher ratio seems little low. My kids section are jam packed. I feel a need of few more teachers & sections may be. This may not be the case though. When you see in cctv it may feel like that. However, planning to discuss this in...

đ¨ Neglect and Lack of Empathy Toward Introverted Children My 3.5-year-old daughter is an introverted but very intelligent child. On the very first day, the staff made her sit alone on a corner bench for nearly 15 minutes â with no adult interacting or trying to comfort her. Predictably, she began crying â not out of separation anxiety, but sheer neglect. Despite her obvious discomfort, no staff member made an effort to engage or include her. This disregard continued throughout the camp.
In contrast, her regular school â Kidzee Chansandra, Whitefield â showed exceptional emotional support and inclusion when she initially struggled. The principal herself personally helped her overcome her fears, which is something KLAY completely failed at.
đ Artificial Environment & Poor Program Outcomes The staff seemed superficial and disinterested in genuinely nurturing the kids. On the culmination day, it was evident that most kids hadnât learned anything meaningful. Several were crying on stage, clearly overwhelmed, indicating poor planning and inadequate preparation. The entire presentation felt like a showpiece exercise for parents, not a reflection of child development.
đŤ Not Inclusive, Especially for Parents As a hands-on parent, I chose to wait outside the campus every day just in case my daughter needed emotional support. On one occasion, I asked to use the washroom. The staff flatly refused, saying men are not allowed to use the restroom inside, and I was directed to a filthy, unhygienic toilet meant for security staff or laborers â absolutely unacceptable and disrespectful.
â My Child Wanted Out Every single day, my daughter would say:
âI donât want to go to KLAY. I want to go to Kidzee. I want to go to the mall. I want to go to my singing class.â That speaks volumes.
Final Verdict The environment lacks compassion, structure, and inclusivity â both for children and parents. What was meant to be a joyful, enriching summer camp turned out to be a stressful and disappointing experience for my daughter and for us as parents and she ended up attending only 3 weeks because of the environment when we paid fee for 5 weeks as my child was not at all interested. All the work that they made her do and all stuff taught was already something she learnt in nursery and home schooling
I would rate 0 stars if that option was...
Read moreMy 4-year-old child was complaining of pain below his abdomen. At first, we didnât give it much thought, but later he told his grandmother that the attendant/miss presses his private area too much when he goes to the toilet. This is very serious. I called the management team, but as usual, they brushed it off. The issue is that near the washroom area, you obviously cannot have cameras, so I wonât have any proof; otherwise, I would have sued this branch. Please have a chat with your child, because the management here is overly protective of their staff, i will not be sending my kid here.
Edit 1: Don't try to be cunning here in your response by mentioning you're unable to track, clearly editing your response after three days. I have personally called your center admin, and she was least bothered to escalate the issue or to further involve the senior management (will refrain from taking her name). Another thing is, for such a serious issue when a parent reached out to you, why don't you have a past record for this? This explains your seriousness on the matter. If I feel comfortable, I will reach out to your center director, my kid was never happy going to this place, contrary to his past playschool, they put all kids in the same basket, if someone is sensitive or needs extra attention they are not equip or patient to handle that, in feedback session they told me your kid takes a long to eat his food, how come this is bad and something to worry about, isnt its your job to make him undestand and feed with love, one day he came out crying as you shoved down food in hurry which made him scare.
Edit 2: Gave all the details to your whitefield...
