I have been visiting this chaat centee since i was a kid and this used to be my number one spot to go to... For chaats... But the bar is below ground at this point. Whoever the new staff is at the pani puri stall has the worst sense of how to talk to a customer and to own up to a mistake. Serves less numerber of pani puris and when asked about the rest of the plate blames the customer for asking for more and that the customer is lying, instead of admitting that it was a genuine mistake. Is this how one treats their customer? Especially the ones who have visited ur shop more than a hundred times over the course of past 7-8 years ? The other time, when asked to mixed the sweet and spicy paanis, the customer's request was completely ignored as if it doesnt matter at all. This has never happened before. Atleast in our experience the old staff members have always been efficient at their work and know how to handle even large crowds. But this is just hopeless. The matter could have been easily solved by just speaking in the right tone...but no. Literally proceeds to deny that the counting done by him is wrong even though multiple people backed us up and refuses to give the pani puris the customer has literally paid for.
Business like this grow from a small shop to as big as it is now due to returning loyal customers... But if the staff is going to continue this behaviour... Then only god can save the owner...
Read moreThough it's located on the junction where CBI Road and RT Nagar Main road meets, it is not prominent at all. First I found it on Zomato and when I searched for this snack joint, to my surprise it was on the same road which I take every day to commute to my office.
Can't write about ambience as it offers stand-eat option and as it is a roadside food joint. They do have some benches in the corner but nobody uses it due to its isolated position. They have a Paani Puri stand outside the outlet who seems to be operating separately.
I had a very high expectation about this as the name of this store is pretty impressive. But first time when I tasted their Paav Bhaaji it felt like I made a mistake by choosing this place. The Bhaaji was stale and I could easily say that it was at least 2 days old preserved in a refrigerator. The same thing repeated again when I visited this joint again after 2 months. Apart from Pav Bhaaji I tried their Masal Puri which was too oily, cutlet which was too hard and the stuffing inside the cutlet felt like a decade old.
Adding to the terrible food they are least bothered about the hygiene. If you catch a glimpse of Kitchen I'm damn sure that you won't order anything at all.
I strongly recommend NOT to choose this chat centre if you are concerned about your...
Read moreThis is the best chaat centre I had ever been to. Although I couldn’t grab few pictures due to the heavy rush at this place, during the evenings, I must say that they serve hygienically made chaats on the spot with great taste. We had ordered: 2 plate Pani Puri, 2 plates Dahi Puri, 1 plate Sukki Poori, and 1 Aloo Parantha. The cook and paani poori person were seen to wear gloves when he made us Paani Poori. All these were delicious but my most favourite was Dahi Poori. The cost of these chaats are also reasonable for the cost price of each. They do not have a seating area but we have to stand and eat. It is advised to go have chaats in the afternoon if one wants to avoid crowds in the evening. Also, there’s no parking facility for four wheelers in front of the chat house but one has to park it elsewhere and come walking towards their destination. Two wheelers can be parked in front of the chat house if parking...
