Gur Chini, is an absolute gem in the culinary world. From the moment you step foot into this cozy little shop, you are greeted with the mouth-watering aroma of traditional Indian sweets and the vibrant flavors of chaat.
Let's start with the sweets - they are truly a work of art. Each piece is crafted with utmost care and attention to detail, making every bite a delightful experience. From the creamy texture of the barfis to the melt-in-your-mouth gulab jamuns, every sweet is a testament to the skill and expertise of the talented artisans behind them.
But Gur Chini is not just about sweets; their chaat is equally impressive. The mix of flavors, textures, and spices in their chaat dishes is simply outstanding. I recommend trying their pani puri, which bursts with tangy and spicy flavors as you take each bite. The dahi bhalla is another must-try, with its perfect balance of cool yogurt, savory lentil dumplings, and sweet and tangy chutneys.
What truly sets Gur Chini apart is their use of gur (jaggery) - a traditional Indian sweetener made from sugarcane. They incorporate this natural sweetener into many of their dishes and sweets, adding a unique and delightful twist to the flavors. It's a delightful departure from the usual sugar-laden treats and brings a whole new dimension to the culinary experience.
The ambiance at Gur Chini is warm and inviting, making it a great place to relax and indulge in some delectable treats. The staff is friendly, helpful, and always ready to make recommendations based on your preferences. Whether you're a fan of traditional Indian sweets, chaat, or just looking for something new and exciting to try, Gur Chini is the perfect place to satisfy your cravings.
In conclusion, Gur Chini, Chaat, and Artisan Sweets is a culinary treasure that delights the senses with its exquisite sweets, flavorful chaat, and creative use of ingredients. It's a must-visit for anyone who appreciates the finer things in life and loves to explore new flavors. So, treat yourself and head over to Gur Chini - you won't be disappointed!

Read moreOrdered 16 pcs Sweet box through Zomato.. it was for an auspicious occasion where a lot of friends were together…. Trusted blindly and without even tasting offered to everyone around after Pooja ceremony. A close one shared after tasting that laddoos are bad and even smelling weird.. then I tried and to my surprise it was true. Such a bad taste not edible at all Later I noticed everyone’s plate then house keeper was clearing it.. that had left over sweet pieces…
While returning around 1.5 hours as a courtesy I thought of calling the store and sharing the feedback with no expectation in return thought the store manager can take right actions..
double surprised what I got in return.. He was asking me to share the picture - I had shared the whole story then also he is asking me to share the picture… It as 16 pcs box and almost 20-25 people were there in showroom.. how I will save the box when it was already distributed?? How I will share the picture when we are already returning from that place??
And when I am explaining - This gentleman is not ready to listen and sticking on the fact that we sent you fresh.. all was fresh.. not possible …….
What was that? What is harm in taking feedback? In this era who has time to even call and say that hey.. we always trust you but disappointed this time because of this….. rather understanding the point Store management decided to argue Couldn’t take that and disconnected the call… what’s the point here? Hurt your pocket and order the rubbish? I garbaged my money and efforts here for the last time for sure…

Even though I wasn't a customer when I first walked in, they treated me with such courtesy, allowing me to use their washroom without any hesitation. It’s rare to find such hospitality these days, and it made all the difference.
Impressed by their kindness, I decided to sit down for a coffee and couldn’t resist trying some of their beautiful, vibrant sweets. I must say, they were a feast for the senses! Each piece was fresh, flavorful, and artfully crafted—truly the most delicious sweets I've tasted in a long time. The ambiance of the place is inviting and elegant, making it the perfect spot to unwind with a cup of coffee or indulge in their exquisite treats.
Though Gur Chini may be on the pricier side, the experience they provide is worth every penny. It’s not just about the sweets, but the warmth and genuine care they extend to every guest. I would highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area—it’s a small oasis of quality...
