Shahi chicken biryani corner — Restaurant in Delhi

Tried Shahi Chicken Biryani Corner in Sultanpur as I was there for some work, and was disappointed by taste.

The first thing that hits you is the lack of hygiene. The setup feels more like a rushed street-side joint than a proper food outlet. There’s no visible effort to maintain cleanliness, and that’s a serious concern when it comes to food handling.

I ordered the Muzaffarpur Biryani, hoping for something flavorful and aromatic—but it was a complete letdown. There was no real taste of biryani—just rice with a bit of masala and chicken thrown in. It lacked depth, fragrance, and the richness you expect from a dish that carries the biryani name.

The Chicken Changezi was another miss. It came drenched in oil, overly spicy, and tasted more like a generic gravy than a well-balanced Mughlai dish. It wasn’t terrible, but it was far from memorable—just average at best, and not something I’d order again.

Prices are low, which might explain the crowd, but the quality doesn’t justify even that. If you’re looking for authentic biryani or well-made Mughlai dishes, there are far better...

**If you ever get Biryani packed from here, make sure to check while they pack it. Otherwise, they tend to put more rice and fill it with worthless pieces in the name of meat.
