Jamshed Baug Navsari — Local services in Gujarat

Parsi Only place for wedding Navjote, or gathering Baug in the heart of Navsari. We stayed here in the rooms above for 2 nights. Very clean and pleasant atmosphere. The food is excellent which the manager downstairs prepares in the kitchen. Parking available and very well maintained place, Clean newly renovated rooms and toilets with hot water, room service and fresh towels etc provided when you stay here.

Manager and Staff are warm and friendly too. You may have to pre book at their head office or email prior to coming.

Navsari is nostalgic to most Parsi people as it has one of the main Parsi Atash Behram (Holy Fire Place of worship).

Jamshed Baug is the main area where these Parsi Members get married or have some functions.. Veg and non veg food is cooked in seperate kitchens, there is a designated place for a stage area,music band area, food area, etc.

Jamshed Baug has an agiary Parsis only place of worship next door in the same Compound almost, and very bean lunsiqui Talao area. Most of the places are walking distance from here ranging from 5mins to 20mins max. This is surrounded by Muslim Masjid (atleast 3-4) and one might get disturbed by the namaz call on loudspeakers at odd hours.

However, Jamshed Baug is maintained by Trust Funds of munificent donors mostly from abroad.. The peace of mind is amazing in this gated place. That's why I gaves...

A good place which I remember as parsi(zoarastrian) function hall. They organize weddings and other janoi(sacred thread rituals). The place was constructed in 1872(I don't remember exactly though but somewhere there) but due to proper maintenance and renovations it's a tidy place. There are two halls there. One for non veg food. The parsi non veg food is the best and the other is for veg food. I've never eaten veg food as I couldn't miss non-veg food. Also it has a small stage for the event and another small stage for the DJ. It is another benchmark of the parsis and the Tata trust. Don't miss any parsi event if you get any chance...

Great place for Parsi weddings and Navjote celebrations at Navsari. Repeat..... parsis only.

Spacious, expansive and great decoration available. Separate non-veg and veg serving areas. Music facilities available....... reasonable good performing DJs and availability of 5 rooms for the family which books the place for the ceremony.

Availability of sumptuous home cooked food by the caretaker.

Vehicle parking very poor...... conjested place...... narrow poor condition lane leading to the place.

As it's placed in Gujerat state, only cold beverages...
