Kadhai khana — Local services in Hyderabad

I have ordered veg food from them in the past for small gathering and the experience had been very good. I planned to place a big party order of around 200 guests with them with non veg as well.

The veg preparation was decent with few exceptions. But non veg was bad.

It was a day time birthday event and food counters were set around 1:15pm instead of earlier committed time of 12-12:30. The owner of the company didn't turn up on the event and left the event to the service guys. For a small party that is fine but for large gathering of 200 folks I was expecting the owner to come and see the arrangements. Butter chicken was not grilled before putting them in the gravy, because of which the boneless pieces were not tender. On checking with the owner, he said butter chicken need not be grilled as that's tandoori butter chicken(I have never seen such an item in any menu) Prawns plate was 140 rupees extra and promise was to provide 40-50 count per kg prawn, but what was delivered was very small size prawn(some even half the size) Rabidi Jalebi- Jalebi was too good and it got over but lot of rabidi remained. I could see some granules mixed with rabidi. On checking with the owner they mixed some khoya and that granules could have come from there, which means they are using sub standard khoya while preparing rabidi. Non veg starter was cold while serving.

I feel they need to improve their quality a bit. They are good for vegetarian food and that too for small gathering. For large gathering and that too for day event they can be avoided. Owner will not accept negative...
