What started as a spontaneous ice cream stop turned into a delightful experience at Cream Stone, Chandannagar. This place never fails to surprise with its decadent creations, and today was no exception!

We kicked off with our all-time favorite, the Nut Overload – a true indulgence for nut lovers. Packed with crunchy nuts and swirls of creamy goodness, it’s that perfect balance of texture and flavor that keeps us coming back every time.

Next up was Karemal Sutra, my son’s latest obsession, and I can totally see why! It’s a symphony of caramel richness, blended just right to create that smooth, almost addictive flavor. Watching him dig in, it was clear this one is going to be a regular on our list.

For me, I couldn’t resist going classic with the Cassata. A nostalgic treat, it took me back to childhood memories of devouring layers of fruit, nuts, and ice cream wrapped in a sponge cake. Cream Stone’s take on this classic did not disappoint, hitting all the right notes with its freshness and that perfect mix of flavors.

The service was on point – quick, courteous, and exactly what you need when you’re craving something cold and sweet. And the ambiance? Spot on! Clean, bright, and inviting – a great spot whether you’re grabbing a quick treat or settling in for a fun dessert session with friends or family.

Absolutely Horrible Experience - Unprofessional Staff and Irresponsible Service

I had the most frustrating experience at this ice cream parlour today, and I feel compelled to share it with others to prevent them from having the same disaster of a visit.

First, let's start with the Manager on duty Abdul Raheem: completely clueless and unprofessional. I witnessed them standing around, doing absolutely nothing while their team was scrambling to manage the growing line. It’s like they were entirely unaware of how a proper establishment should be run. No leadership, no attention to detail—just a lot of inaction.

Now, onto the serving agent—this person was a complete disaster. They were careless and seemed to be in their own world, completely ignoring customers. To make things worse, they served my order to someone else! Not once did they double-check the bill number or confirm the order before handing it over to the wrong customer. When I pointed this out, they shrugged it off as if it was no big deal, leaving me to wait even longer while the confusion was sorted out.

I can’t believe the lack of attention to detail and responsibility here. It’s clear that neither the manager nor the staff care about providing quality service or ensuring a smooth experience for their customers. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere from now on. It’s a shame to see such a good ice cream parlour...

Here are my feelings about this gem of a place. Goods: back of my head, I loved the death by chocolate. My mom accompanied me for the ice cream. She loved the fruits and nut. That's her favorite kind of ice cream now. Thanks to whoever put this on the menu. I could have used a bit more of cold water. I asked the waiter if he could provide me with another water bottle. His response seemed a bit slacky. He said, " we ran out of the cold ones and I just refilled the fridge with new bottles. I felt like somebody has to stay on top of their job. But looking at the waiter. He looked pretty sick to me. There were also a bunch of women in the back who were apparently stocking the store room and could have the poor guy. I wasn't bothered about him not being able to bring water. What bothered me was they have told me that they don't have waffles but they do. They could have informed the guy. everything was pretty good. I could have used a bit more cleaner and renovated ambience. Anyways, good icecream and the sick waiter saved the day for cream stone...
