I had a terrible experience at the Axis Bank Datta Mandir Branch in Wakad, Pune. The staff there seemed completely unaware of basic processes, and all they kept pushing was for me to open a bank account. My credit card had been migrated from Citi Bank to Axis Bank, and I went in to inquire about closing it. Instead of offering any meaningful assistance, they just told me to call customer care.
What’s the point of even visiting the bank if they can’t help with such simple requests? I have accounts with multiple banks, but this has been by far the worst experience. The staff at this branch are immature and lack the willingness to assist customers properly. This issue has been recurring for the past several visits, causing inconvenience and leaving me unable to track my account transactions efficiently.
As a customer, I rely on the passbook to maintain a physical record of my banking activities. The inability to access this basic service is disappointing and unprofessional, especially from a reputed bank like Axis Bank. I am not accepting for this reputional bank . Next day when I asked to staff they replied that current account can’t be opened. There is no reason given. They simply denied current account. I follow up twice about reason still no response.
