I have been coming here since my very young days and I and my family really like this place. Brij Albela has great selection of Indian sweets and snack items. We especially enjoy their Pani Puri. I personally love the chaat and rabri, yum...You have your items packed for you or you can enjoy them there itself, sitting outside.. This, however, was not possible earlier as Brij Albela did not have seats, you could only eat while standing. Since the installation of seats, Brij Albela is now also a great place to have short and meetings, and while you are at it, have a quick bite as well.. Their prices though are on the higher side, which I honestly do not mind, but still.. And the staff, they really need to improve their attitude towards customers, they sometimes seem arrogant. Guys, because you have a good product, does not give you right to be arrogant about it.... Apart from this, everything is really nice, sweets fresh and snacks tasty, and they maintain cleanliness. The confectionery, Indian, remains excellent however. The variety is superb and the quality as good as the best anywhere. Costs are competitive; reasonable. You cannot possibly go wrong here. Everything is seemingly fresh; the taste of things is formidably good.
But costs and tastes aren't always everything, now, is it?
Visit here by all means; the food shall never disappoint. However, keep your cross-counter interactions to the very minimum; and try not to take offence when you are glared and grunted at; or when your polite "thank you" elicits a glitteringly cold, reptilian, impersonal and expressionless gaze.
