Housiey — Local services in Mumbai

I can only begin by saying Housiey made our house hunt journey a cakewalk. It all started when I randomly received an apartment tour video that a friend sent me since he knew that I had a far-fetched idea of booking a flat. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever imagine that i'll wrap it up in a span of just 3 weeks. They helped us with evaluation, site visits, consulting, negotiation (I did my share of it too) and booking. We ended up buying a 2 bhk apartment in Pharande Spaces, Puneville in Punawale, Pune.

We had evaluated and shortlisted from at least 100-150 properties via NoBroker, Housiey, 360 realtors, Google/Instagram, local projects and direct builders.

Housiey took time to understand my requirements in detail and showed me projects only relevant to what I shared - which worked perfectly for me. And boy, did we have a LOT of demands!! Nearing possession, good location, more carpet area, budget friendliness, amenities, reputed builder, good quality/safety, and the likes to name a few. They were patient enough to keep all that in mind, follow up regularly and take me for site visits at my convenience, come rain or shine.

Key resources: Anton Balid - He was our primary contact in helping us find our first dream home. He was very knowledgeable and extremely patient and underanding with. He used a consultative approach rather than a sales-y one. There were days where he had to travel an hour to meet me, skip his meal, visit multiple sites and still be ethical enough to not demand any money from me for his meal or travel. We were able to connect on a personal level as well and still stay in touch to date.

Bhakti Shinde - She was our relationship manager and diligently followed up whenever necessary. She was also responsible for assigning necessary local representatives based on the localities we were looking to visit. She did all that very gracefully.

Nitisha Ranit - Contacted me after the booking and came all the way home to deliver a lovely momento.

Yadgar Hussain - We met him only once for a couple of hours for 2 site visits. But his knowledge and honesty just completely won us over again.

I'm impressed at how so many people were involved and so much guidance/help was given to us as first time home buyers and we didn't have to spend a nickel from my pocket. The only tiny downside that I see is that Housiey can only show you projects that are their channel partners. Review for Housiey- AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Deceptive, Discriminatory, and Utterly Unprofessional - STEER CLEAR! My experience with housiey has been nothing short of a disaster. This company is a prime example of everything that's wrong with the real estate industry. If you value your time, money, and sanity, I implore you to look elsewhere. Their claim of treating all clients equally is a blatant lie. It's become abundantly clear that they operate on a system of favoritism, doling out "cashbacks" and preferential treatment to a select few while the rest of us are treated like second-class citizens. This discriminatory practice is not only unethical but frankly disgusting. Furthermore, don't expect any genuine advice or properties tailored to your needs. Their agents are clearly incentivized to push properties where they get the biggest kickbacks from builders, regardless of whether it's a good fit for the client or a sound investment. They're not interested in finding you a dream home; they're interested in lining their own pockets. It's a shameful and predatory tactic that preys on unsuspecting buyers. The level of unprofessionalism and apathetic service I received was appalling. Calls went unreturned, concerns were dismissed, and there was a complete lack of transparency throughout the entire process.
