Hotel Oyster Suite — Hotel in Mumbai

We Blindly Believed the Ratings the hotel has, and booked it for 2200. We requested Early checkin at 09.30 it costed us 600 thats okay but as we entered the room we found blanket very shabby with hairs scattered around, when we asked to change, he proposed to clean i.e dust it out n remove hair. How could we use others used stinking blanket which was visibly quite unhygienic ? When insisted on changing it, we were turned down saying laundary guy comes only after 11.30Am. we Demanded Change of Room we were Denied saying No Other Room is Vacant which i think was not True. With no other go we decided to roll out blanket n bedsheet and sleep on Mattresses itself till the laundry guy come. To our Astonishment Mattress was more Shabby than Bedsheet. With no other go we sat waiting for laundry guy till 11.30 wch we could have done in Lobby even without spending extra money. Colourfully Spitted Walls &stained n stinking Corridor. The Very Entrance reflects the Standard of the Hotel which shows itself Neat n Tidy Online. Staff Argue for everything. We felt as if we were staying in a Dharam Shala Free on the Mercy...

I used to go to this hotel often until an experience that made me lose my faith in this place completely. I was with my partner on the night of 31st Dec 2022. Somehow in the middle of the night I see the curtains near the window getting pulled from the outside. I jumped off the bed to see what's wrong. Turns out there was a guy who was putting aluminium grills from the outside. I complained about it right away but I was not satisfied with the action they took on it at all. If the guy was putting grills from the outside why did he have to open the window? Why did he have to pull the curtains? Why did he have to put grills in the middle of the night? He could be peeking. He could be staring. Since how long? No one knows? It's only when the accidentally pulled the curtains I found out someone's there. I was lucky that I and my partner we're just lying down. Also when I checked the windows, the lock was broken. Doesn't matter how flashy you make your hotel appear, I just cannot compromise on my privacy at all. Not going to this...

Room is quite ok, but the noise from train alot so I change to another side of hotel, then noise from closing door disturbed me. They sometimes forget to provide complimentary water and towel to the room, no proper shampoo. The worst thing is the receptionst staff, the girl was friendly and helpful but the guy was keep asking me stupid questions again and again: where do you go? What time will you come back? Why do you come back so late this time? What did you do? He is also not helpful and professional and tried to get much money from you, the first day I came he couldn't even found my booking in traveloka and made me wait him for so long, then he tried to ask tip from me but i don't want to tip unprofessional and impolite staff like him. Not a good location also because you cannot easily find restaurant or shops/ market/supermarket nearby. It's a muslim area so not allow...
