Taste is fine , but yesterday when i visited this shop for first time, i was excited to see how they make jalebis , since i have my youtube channel ,so i like capturing good moments that i experience , so i started taking video of the process for my youtube shorts, suddenly their staff started acting awkward , and later i was told capturing video is not allowed here, on asking why they replied , in random videos like you capture our staff might not be wearing mask or the place would look unhygienic, also on telling them that this is for youtube and food blogging , they said we are already on youtube, if you want to capture a video let us know in prior we will arrange everything, Now here my question is Why can’t we keep the place hygienic all the time since your counters are straight in front of customers, if you don’t want customers to take videos than why keep the live counters? This place is apparently a branch of Jalebi shop in Mumbadevi. Though have not tried the jalebis at the original shop, must say that the jalebis at this Mahavir Nagar branch are good. For the quality and taste of the jalebis price of Rs. 500 per kg may be considered reasonable. You can have the jalebis there or have them packed. They pack the jalebis in a cardboard box with plastic coating inside. Don't know if they also had papdi gathiya also earlier, but they have started selling the same along with jalebis. Loved the crispy hot jalebis that were made live in front of us at this outlet . Best part was the apt amount of sweetness that made us binge eat jalebi. We also tried mari wala fafda, papdi, bhakarwadi , raw papaya chutni with green chilli. Everything was fresh and made in hygienic way.
