It's one of the oldest multiplexes of South India. I visited this place recently after almost 12 years to watch Deadpool & Wolverine. It has 18 screens running various regional and non regional movies. Though it's located away from the city, this multiplex runs full on weekends since the crowd who love to drive on ECR pours in.
They have open parking space outside and they charge a whopping Rs.100 for parking which I feel way too much. On weekends they run out of parking space very quickly and you need to park on the pathway or on narrow roads which poses the risk of getting scratches by exiting vehicles.
The food courts on the outer circle of the complex are very unhygienic and filled with houseflies. Stores and eateries inside the complex are much better comparatively.
The movie theatre seating arrangement is quite odd. There is no space in the middle to walk, so the entire row is tucked together with only two entry points from both ends. It becomes very uncomfortable to move around if you book centre seats. Even the seats are not broad enough, you feel like getting squeezed when you sit. The legroom is very short and you can feel the leg movement of people sitting behind you.
The 3D experience was good, theatre gets totally dark during the show which is a good thing. But there is no Exit sign which poses risk of fire safety.
The advertisements runs just as long as any other multiplex theatres. So, no complaints.
Overall, I must admit that I had local single screen experience in a multiplex. Would avoid this next time for...

For movie enthusiasts, this ensures better availability, even for popular shows or newly released films. However, its location is a significant drawback as it is situated quite far from the city, making accessibility a challenge for many.
The parking facilities leave much to be desired. The multiplex offers only open parking, which may not be ideal during extreme weather conditions. Additionally, the parking charges are steep—a flat ₹100 for four-wheelers and ₹50 for two-wheelers. This might feel excessive, especially for visitors already paying premium prices for tickets and concessions.
On the brighter side, the premises house a resto-bar called The Deck, adding a unique touch to the overall experience. This venue allows patrons to enjoy a meal or a drink, either before or after the movie. Moreover, the multiplex offers a variety of games and experiences, creating an entertaining environment that extends beyond just watching films. These features make it a good option for those seeking a more rounded outing.
While the multiplex has its perks, the distance from the city and parking limitations may deter some visitors, especially those seeking...

The multiplex offers a wide range of screens and showtimes, making it incredibly convenient. The theatres are spacious, the seats are comfortable, and the sound and picture quality are top-notch, providing an immersive cinema experience. One thing that stood out was the cleanliness and maintenance of the entire facility—even the washrooms were spotless, which is often rare in busy multiplexes.
The mall area outside the theatres is well-designed with a variety of food outlets, snack counters, and small shops. Whether you're in the mood for popcorn, fast food, or local delicacies, there's something for everyone. The ambience is relaxed yet lively, making it a perfect weekend hangout spot.
What adds to the charm is the ample parking space and the location—it’s away from the city crowd yet easily accessible. From movies and food to casual shopping and just chilling, Mayajaal has everything...
