my family and relatives always buy their crafted gulabi meenakari jewellery and artefacts since 16+ years, they always make amazing and beautiful products.

As I have seen some fake reviews to their profile, so I have to write this note to clarify them,

please beware of some unauthentic people in middle way of their workshop, some fraud (vyapari type) people always do rumers about authentic people, never believe to them and always choose authentic and government approved artisans like Tarun Kumar Singh and Krishna Kumar Singh.

They have achieved a big number of awards (2 national + 11 state awards) for jewellery and artefacts in banaras gulabi meenakari craft and they also teached hundreds of students to support the craft and artisans family since 11 years in Varanasi.

When we planned a visit to Varanasi, we had included gulabi meenakari in our list and thought it would be easily available in the local jewelry and trinket shops. Not at all!

Strangely for an art form with a GI tag which has Varanasi as its birthplace, gulabi meenakari is not available except at the artist's homes. So we went searching on foot through the narrow by-lanes around Gai ghat and had a most amazing experience at the national award winner Shri Ramesh Vishwakarma's house. His son Rohan patiently explained the process and showed the various artifacts, illustrating how this work is quite different from Jaipur meena work. The younger brother whose name escapes me is an outstanding artist. We ended up with some unplanned purchases. The jewelry is expensive but well worth it for the art...
