Tenda Chinese — Local services in County Westmeath

I placed an order on line and I tried to use the 15% discount code I had received by text as we are a regular customer. It didn't work. When I went in to collect the order I said the code didn't work and asked the guy could he take it off the bill. He said no, I said it clearly states get 15% off your next order and he said if too many people use the code it doesn't work (i ordered at 5pm so who did get to use this code?!) and he told me to try it again tomorrow. Eh I don't spend €35 on Chinese every day! I said its not my problem it doesn't work you can take 15% off the bill, I told him I was happy to pay for the food with the discount applied, at this stage its not about the money, its the principle, we order from here every 2 weeks and this is how they act. I was polite and he refused to give the discount so I said fine you can keep it then. I waited for a couple of seconds and just looked at him and as just as I was turning to go he called me a Bit*h. I was mortified as there were 5 or 6 other customers waiting. That's some staff member you have, I think his name was Charlie, tall, dark haired young guy. I wasn't being rude in anyway and he though it was ok to speak to a customer like that. Don't send out texts to customers promoting a discount if you aren't willing to stand by them. Its a sad & cheap...

Been coming to Tenda the past 4 years or so. Food is delicious and fresh. Little to none MSG. Had some problems in the past few years trying to order at weekends with some previous staff seemed as phones off the hook so I Ieft tenda for a different chinese. I recently in the past few months have returned to tenda But they have a young lad employed the last while and he always answers straight away never a problom getting thru which is great seems they have more phones now also to keep up with demand also. Always a smile and great phone manner. Shop looks like it's on wheels lately it's that busy but that's a good sign. Very clean takeaway. Keep it up...

I never wrote a review before this is my first time but i thought i just have too. Ordered yesterday Saturday evening firstly I want to just say fair dues to the young lad they employed working the front of the takeaway. Shops was jammed busy street full and 3-4 phones non stop ringing he was very fast efficient and friendly in person and on the phone a big smile for every customer even tho how busy they were. The work load seems abit too much for 1 person to do it seems like work of 2-3 counter staff but he handled it well. Food was outstanding as always. Good job Tenda keep it up!!
