Great recovery after a rocky start We were really looking forward to trying Ceantar Pizza Co., but unfortunately the pizzas we received were quite badly burnt, which was disappointing.

I reached out privately and got a kind, prompt reply offering a refund, which I really appreciated. There was a delay in processing the refund — nearly three weeks — and I didn’t hear back despite a couple of follow-ups.

Based on other reviews, I think these guys were having a bad night. Delivery was good and on time, but the food left a bit to be desired. The base was completely raw in places (I actually thought it was cream cheese at first but realised it was raw dough), the pizzas were much smaller than pictured in other reviews and on the site. Never leave reviews - but pizza arrived late, cold, soggy (!) and burnt (aware of wood fire pizza taking on some char but this was beyond that). Inedible. Poor young delivery lad looked under fierce pressure too, so possible it was an off night or the sunny Friday night that was in it, but obviously not set up to cope with demand.
