Awesome Walls — Local services in Fingal

I recently visited Awesome Walls with my niece, and I must say, we had an absolutely fantastic time! The highlight of our visit was definitely the climbing, but what truly made our experience was our instructor, Al.

Al was not only incredibly helpful and encouraging, but he also had a laid-back and easy-going demeanor that made our time at Awesome Walls truly enjoyable. His expertise and guidance made us feel safe and confident as we tackled the climbing walls. He went above and beyond to ensure that we had a fun and memorable experience.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Al for making our visit to Awesome Walls truly exceptional. His enthusiasm and dedication to his role as an instructor are commendable. We highly recommend anyone visiting Awesome Walls to request Al as their instructor for an unforgettable adventure.

Five stars and a big thumbs up to Awesome...

They seem to have gotten a lot more money-grabbing in recent years which is very off-putting. The facilities are great but a pal who hasn't been in a few years has been told he has to do 100 euro induction. I brought my aunt and bf as they both have kids they wanted to climb with and they did the induction course and were both FAILED. This resulted in sad children and two adults that are supposed to pay to do the induction again in order to climb. Either the staff can train people effectively or not. Honestly, it's a figure 8. I was sorry I hadn't gotten a chance to teach them before we went. So advice, to train people yourself before going if you are an experienced climber wanting to bring friends for a taster session. I get that insurance is a big issue but I thought that was what disclaimer forms and maybe a quick demo of basic...

Awesome Walls IS the definition of a FIVE STAR climbing experience. Delayed overnight at Dublin airport with 30 years climbing under my belt, I visited Awesome Walls with no expectations just hope. The facility is first class and caters to climbers of all levels, from first timer to MoonBoard aficionado. There is even a gymnasium for a more structured workout. I hate to gush but their hospitality was top tier, with a full facility tour and personal introductions to local climbers who invited me into their climbing day, and UNBELIEVABLY I was driven to the airport after our session ended. I live in the US and in future when I travel through Dublin will make AW a destination, and recommend my friends do the same.
