Thanks to CON! My knight in shining armour... My sister and I did the Skellig Coast Adventure with CON, our guide and Pat, the skipper. Both were excellent. Pat went out of his way to make sure we saw dolphin on our return and we never felt the tour was rushed or tied to a time schedule. They left from Portmagee on time and we did a tour around Little Skellig and Skellig Michael, before landing and saw the enormous bird life and seals. On the way back Pat did a bit of a detour to locate a shoal of dolphins - It was magical! The highlight for me was that when I arrived at the base of the steps and started walking up to the top of Skellig Michael, I got a touch of acrophobia and had to come down. My sister continued and CON who was at the top asked where I was, she told him I was afraid of coming down. He came down and said 'you can do this'! He was absolutely fantastic as I never thought I would be able to climb those stone steps, all 618 of them! Anyway I did and it is thanks to CON who gave me the confidence and support to see one of the most amazing sights I have ever seen. It's just so hard to fathom how the monks lived on hop of a rock for 6 or 7 centuries. It's a must do tour and I would highly recommend...
Read moreI sailed to and landed at Skellig Michael only a few hours ago and I must say it was an amazing experience. 5 stars from me.
Captain Alan & Skipper John made the sailing an interesting, exciting and overall enjoyable trip. They made all of us feel very welcome and comfortable. Alan was very knowledgeable about the area, the islands and the wildlife.
Booking was easy and the SCA team kept in touch with updates the night before and morning of sailing. This was very reassuring.
Skellig Michael speaks for itself. Just breathtaking and a must see for everyone who visits the south of Ireland.
Thanks again to the Skellig Coast Adventures Team. And Alan, those ginger nut cookies were well received on the return sailing. You're a legend.

Read moreThese guys were awesome. The trip was almost cancelled due to weather but we were able to go. The water was so rough that half of us on the boat spent the entire 1 hour+ ride throwing up. One of the guys on the boat was so awesome, he spent the entire ride emptying the barf buckets and wiping our faces off. I can't recommend this company enough. The island itself is incredible. Its a must visit once in your life. I would not come back though because of how sick I got. The only criticism I have is we needed more time on the island. We only had about 2 hours which was enough time to hike to the top, take a few pictures, and hike down. Would have loved an extra 2-4 hours to take everything in and spend time photographing the...
