I recently had an incredibly frustrating experience . I entered the store with the intention of purchasing a full set of both large and small appliances for my kitchen renovation project but first needed a quote for that. However, what followed was nothing short of disappointing.
Upon inquiring about a quote for the full set, I was met with the excuse that there was a shortage of staff, which apparently rendered them unable to issue a quote at that moment. Fair enough, I thought, and proposed leaving my request with the store to be fulfilled whenever convenient for them. Shockingly, this suggestion was met with outright refusal from the manager.
Not only did they refuse to accommodate my simple request, but they also failed to provide any alternative solution. It was as if they couldn't care less about my business or my needs as a customer. The lack of professionalism and basic customer service was truly appalling.
As someone in the midst of a kitchen renovation, time is of the essence for me. However, it seems that Ger (manager) couldn't care less about customer convenience or satisfaction. I will certainly be taking my business elsewhere, where my patronage is actually appreciated and valued. Save yourself the headache and avoid this store...
Read moreVisited the Dundalk store today, with partner and 2 kids in trolley, to spend a large amount of money for our new house (laptop, 70” smart TV, full Bose surround sound system) first was the laptops just in the door, we browsed & picked one suitable, it advertised the boxes of them on display but we’re tied down so you couldn’t walk off with them, which we understood! As we were looking at the specifics on the box to check it was the right section of boxes, to point out at checkout, we noticed there was some of the 64gb laptop and some of the same but a 32gb mixed in the same row! As we were looking, a manager with no name tag on came and told us that the boxes were tied down so we can’t steal them, I tried to explain that there was a different laptop mixed in and he immediately shut me off in an extremely rude manner! We brushed it off and moved on to the bottom of the store for the TVs, in the corner of my eye, I noticed the manager pointing at us to other staff, and then we noticed that staff were hovering around us! Read moreToo complicated with delivery. Will not use them in the future. Wanted to buy a fridge a week ago, went to their Dundalk store and asked if I can pick it up in store. Very unfriendly customer service, was brushed off. Had to buy online- no delivery time options, got informed my order will go out for delivery 15/10- again no time when etc. Called their customer service, agents hardly understood a word- most likely outsourced to India, and all I wanted was that the driver gets my permission to leave it in front of my door. No chance.... I have to be at home was the answer, or the driver won't deliver- GREAT!! So I asked for an estimated time since I work. I think I could make out of his bad English: Driver will call you, do you want to change the date?! That's the way to lose customers!!!! If I could give half a star or non, I would.
UPDATE: Fridge arrived damaged, the driver took picture after I agreed to keep it and he told me I will receive a refund within a week. That’s about 4 weeks ago. Stay far away...
