Galilei VIP Lounge — Local services in Pisa

What an awful experience. Staff was extremely rude. It started with the front desk employee taking offense with my sister-in-law's smile saying "I don't understand what's so funny, this attitude is not welcome here" or something along those lines. The food options are extremely limited with a few pastries, fruits and boiled eggs being the highlight. Other than that they had toast with a few options (ham, salami, cheese, nutella, jam). Drink options were quite limited as well, but they had some wine, beer and canned soft drinks. The most uncomfortable situation was when we were about to leave and my daughter wanted to take some juice for the way and I had an open can of lemonade. We were very rudely told that we cannot take anything out, treating us like the biggest scum for attempting to take a couple of drinks with us. This could have been communicated in a friendly and respectful manner, but instead it was just disgusting how we were talked to. The customer is clearly just a nuisance for staff here. Considering they charge €35 per person to enter this is certainly one of the worst airport lounge experiences I have experienced anywhere in the world. I had a delayed flight and some troubles with my plane so I landed in the Pisa airport and my flight wasn’t until 6 hours later. I found a lounge and in the front of the lounge it said it was full but I still went in and found a seat. I tried to find some food but after one bite, I almost threw up. I was already overwhelmed from my flight being cancelled. I placed my bags on the seats near me because I would be staying here until my plane arrives, but all of a sudden I was told to take my bags off the chair because “there is a line waiting to be seated.” You pay €35 per person, which is outrageous (I went with my family of 4). I tried to rest but it was chaotic and I could not put my leg anywhere, or else the lady would tell me to put my leg down. When I was also sitting down, there was an elderly couple that just wanted to come in and relax, but the receptionist threatened to call the police on the man, which breaks my heart. Worst experience, do not recommend coming here. (Flies everywhere...

A very disappointing lounge. Not saying this to offend anybody, but just because I think whomever is in charge SHOULD do something about this. The food is not extraordinary at all, there’s no fresh oil and vinegar for the salads (instead you get some small bags), nothing that looks too fresh or interesting to eat (most of it very unhealthy and not appetizing). The hot chocolate is some kind of brown colored water. The capuccino tastes like black coffee with a tiny bit of milk. What’s worst is the cleaning level. I haven’t seen something like this in a long tine, maybe last time in Egypt. It’s extremely dirty and the armchairs are disgusting to sit on. The air con and the curtains - same. The toilet smells quite bad, although there’s a fragrance which tries to cover it. Not only that I don’t recommend it, but I suggest the company in charge of this lounge does something about this.
