The customer service of this place was appalling to say the least. 2 ladies serving behind the bar and one manager hoovering around. 1st lady that I asked for my order was more worried about chatting with colleagues before being bothered to walk over the pizza section of the bar. After I payed for my order I had to go to the other side of the bar to order for my already payed coffee with the second server. This server looked at me but continued to smile and text at her phone, I had to wait for her to finish sending her phone message before she could take my order. She then finally took the order and started making the coffee machine, whilst waiting for the coffee to be made this server returned to her phone, smiling, texting and sending voice messages, finally looked up to see me still waiting , she then looked at me with the most I can’t be bothered with this face of despise an aloofness that completely through me off. Even though it was bad service, up to this point I didn’t really mind but her mannerism and facial expression towards me when I’m just trying to get my order is completely out of order and uncalled for. We were served by this very friendly gentleman that was super happy and singing along with the radio in the morning of our flight on July 6th 23. He was wonderful, we were tired but he made us smile with his contagious happiness.

We got the deal where you get a coffee, orange juice and pastry for €7.

He also made us a lovely cappuccino with soy milk. They had the option of vegan cornetto too which was tasty.

Esperienza pessima. Non mi capitava di fare colazione in aeroporto da prima del Covid, ricordavo l'ottimo bar gestito da Salza con prezzi lievemente più alti della media ma sempre più che ragionevoli. Capito per lavoro e vado con un dipendente dell'aeroporto in questo bar perchè gli altri erano molto più affollati. Chiediamo il classico cappuccino con cornetto per due e resto semplicemente esterefatta quando il barista (oltretutto assai scorbutico) ci batte uno scontrino di quasi dieci euro! La persona con me gli fa notare di avere la convenzione per i dipendenti e il barista scocciatissimo risponde che al massimo gli può applicare la convenzione sul cappuccino ma non sul cornetto perchè dentro c'era la marmellata !!! Come non bastasse i due cornetti erano al limite della commestibilità, e i due cappuccini erano praticamente acqua sporca. Ora, a parte la giornata di lavoro iniziata malissimo, mi domando: ma è così che accogliamo i turisti a Pisa? Con bar sporchi, personale scortese, prezzi stellari, e qualità che lasciamo perdere?
