Mastro Bistecca — Restaurant in Pisa

Went here three times within 7 years and each time the food was good and the prices decent, especially considering being in an airport. The female chef was the same every visit and I think she is doing a great job considering she is all by herself behind the counter and sometimes was even waiting the tables. The other service staff which keeps changing was not even close as good and one time almost ruined our visit. You pay almost the same price behind the security check and all you get there is some precooked fast food. So I will always prefer this fresh cooked food and nice glas of wine before...

This would be the worst Resturant I have been to for many years in a airport . The portions were so small I thought it was a starter . The quality was below average with the lamb and mash . If this was anywhere else I would give it a bad review, but compared to all the other options at Pisa Airport, it's actually quite nice. That's why I give it 5/5 overall and 3/5 for all the categories - so that you will go here instead of the other places that are TRULY awful. Is this a great gourmet experience?
