EDIT: Dear Ms. Cristina, Thank you for taking your time to respond to my review. I take that as a sign of care to maintain a prime standard of the establishment that we would like to visit again, hopefully in more fortunate circumstances.
We spent a lovely day at the club, renting a cabana and enjoying lunch at their outstanding seafood restaurant. Visually, I consider this establishment to be one of the finest in Forte dei Marmi—surpassing even some of the more famous clubs such as Bagno Alpemare in terms of elegance and atmosphere.
That said, what unfortunately detracted from our experience were the manners of some of the staff members. When booking a tenda in the morning, the receptionist was borderline rude. I chose to overlook her behavior—even when she curtly instructed us not to remove the towels from the sunbeds, slammed the wooden box shut, and walked away without making eye contact. I assumed she might have had a tough morning and decided not to dwell on it.
Before lunch, we asked a woman from the restaurant about our table. She told us we were at table number 1, waved in its direction, and walked off. We noticed a reservation card on the table with someone else's name but trusted her guidance. A few minutes later, our waiter arrived, picked up the reservation card, and rather harshly questioned whether we were the guests whose name was listed. After we explained that his colleague had assigned us the table, his tone changed and the situation de-escalated.
Throughout lunch, I also noticed an elegant lady at the next table trying to get service several times without success.
On a brighter note, the seafood we ordered was of exceptional quality—beautifully presented and truly among the best meals we've had in Forte dei Marmi. The beach itself was also impeccably maintained.
It’s a shame that the staff seemed so tense and disengaged, as it's ultimately the people who shape the experience and the memories you take away. With a warmer, more welcoming service, this place could easily become a...

We go to Alcione every summer for the last 15 years. It is a friendly place where you can get around with English and no Italian. There are many other international visitors like us.
The tent is not cheap, but it is commensurable to other beaches in Forte with similar density of tents on the beach. There is a swimming pool -- no comment, we never used it. The facilities are modern and clean, with a lot of attention to details.
The restaurant is superb and reasonably priced. Cold bottled water is 3 Euro for .75L bottles. All main dishes are 18--25 Euro. It is mostly fish and seafood, either Italian or Japanese style. Quality of fish and...
Read moreWas lucky to be invited by friends to spend a few days in Forte dei Marmi, and the experience of it all has been elevated by the time at Bagno Alcione: the unique set up of the club is breathtaking and soooo comfortable to be on the beach with such comfort, never happened in the other beach club we have been before. Despite the uncertain weather, the hours went by in formidable mix of relax and great service.
The lunch the highlight of each day, spaghetti arselle and rombo gran fritto!!
Thank you Illaria for the warm welcome and many recommendations that made us feel right at home, and look forward to visiting the Carrara quarries next time...
