We decided last minute to go here as an break on the journey north, so logged online to buy the 3 hour family packet and then went straight down. Turns out that the 3 hours ticket only allows entry in the afternoon and the 4 hour ticket only in the morning (try working out the logic behind that?), and we hadn't booked an entry slot. They let us in anyway, but not without a completely grumpy reception and a few snide comments under the breathe (still loud enough for us to hear) and about us not wanting to pay the difference. A completely unprofessional and rude way to deal with people.
Once inside the baths are nice, although I agree with earlier comments that there is no choice of water temperatures, all baths are the same temperature more or less. The changing areas are getting old, hard to see how they keep the floor hygienic with the lino surface breaking up. The gardens are very nice - Definitely a great place for middle aged and older generations to go and chill out, but not a place suitable for families with younger children. Just make sure you know all the rules about which tickets are valid when before...
Read moreOk the pools are good you can go inside to outside without getting out extremely disappointing there is no family bathroom make and female's have a different section for changing and shower makeshift a nightmares for families with young children if your children are under 3years old they are only allowed in the kids pool withbos 80cm deep the parent and go in the bigger pool but the children cannot go in the water this makes it extremely difficult for families to have a nice time together. It was clean yes the staff at the entrance okay not really friendly in the sense where there isn't really customer service ifbu have kids naturally u get the info related to family no only if u ask. Lockers there are no fees wherebis a cafe next to the pool u charge everything to the bracelet like a tab and pay at the end there are blow dryers jo extra charge which is nice . U must wear swimming cape and handles and bring a towel they sell swimming nappies for kids and rent towels and handles and sell swimming caps the overall experience was okay in general nothing really crazy that would make me want to come...
Read moreWe visited after christmas day so there were family with lots of kids so very noisy. There is no place you can relax with calmness. Actually the facility is not bad, newly renovated inside and outside thermal pools with natural view setting. There are two main different warmth of pools and each one has connected outdoor pools. Hotter pool side is much smaller and there is small circular stepping pools connected between warm and cold water. On the other side building, there are 3 saunas(swedish, turkish and something else, shower etc) in spa side and has little space for resting with extra pay (each 15 euro extra after paying entrance fee) BUT it was very noisy. No one had concept keep it quiet.
A cafe or deli is located right next indoor pool. Food is ok very casual.
I presume that we came on an exceptional day super busy and loud. If there aren’t many people, it would have...
