As a title for this review, I'd say: logic doesn't work in Italy. Upon arrival, we found what we understood to be the manager (a woman), who explained the rules of the place with the slightest enthusiasm. Once there, she told us the price wouldn't be €20 but €25 per day. This falls into the realm of what is, perhaps isn't, or could be different in Italy as numbers can be even different than informed... they're clearly taking advantage of the lack of other options. When I asked if she had a charger for our hybrid, she said they have but it didn't work and that "there was another one at the entrance." I asked for clear instructions, "which entrance, can you tell us in more detail?" To which her response was simply: "You'll see." To say that they don't care at all about their customers is an understatement, they cause stress and problems and show zero willingness to help tourists. We were very polite and kind when asking for help. I can only say one thing: DO NOT go to Vernazza by car, you can leave it in La Spezia and get there by train, the road to Vernazza is like something out of a movie, the state of the roads is unusual in such a touristy place. We did all this to stay a couple of nights in Cinque Terre because we wanted to experience it, however, this parking was a negative part of...
Read moreWould have had no issues if we weren’t treated so poorly. My group and I have been traveling through Italy for 15 days so we have a lot of luggage and this caused a big problem and attitude from the attendant. No reason I can imagine why as it did not change anything for her as they did not put our luggage in the car, take our luggage out or help us in any way with it. But yet it was such an issue that she proceeded to continuously make comments under her breath and to the shuttle drivers. Once she told us she would not accommodate our luggage’s we had to take a few extra moments to prepare to go bags and I’m not sure if this is what annoyed her but if that was the rule then when we called to make our reservation she should have explained it and we would have been prepared. If we had another option for parking we would have taken it because she negatively impacted our time in this...
Read morei stayed in Vernazza for 7 days and left my car here. if you arrive with a smile and be patient they will treat you kindly and take care of you. if not. well that's on you. a good tip is to call them in advance and make a reservation and get confirmaion that they have space for you.
over all i've had a very positive experience with them. i arrived, told them i had a reservation (i called 2 days in advance) and they told me where to park my car and take out my lugage, one short stop to confirm detail later and i was in a shuttle down to vernazza where i spent my week.
when it was time for me to leave, you just call tell them when you are ready and they will be there as soon as posible. they even cleaned my car off with some water to get off the dust from it being there for a week. very lovely people. if i'm ever back again i will leave my car...
