Bar Il Gabbiano — Restaurant in Vernazza

If you are coming to Cinque Terre and plan to hike at all, you should choose the blue trail path between Corniglia and Vernazza just so you can experience Bar Il Gabbiano! It is located at the highest point on the blue trail with SPECTACULAR views! And, it is unreal what Eugenio and his team do each day to deliver fresh drinks and food to all the visitors. They carry in cases and cases of fresh fruit everyday so that they can make the most delicious smoothies and frozen drinks (I highly recommend the Fabian special, which is a lemon slushie with vodka!). I am a fan of cinque terre. My first trip was off season and when walking from Corniglia to Vernazza we walked by this spot that caught our attention. Second time, when walking from Vernazza to Croniglia (My favourite sense of the path) it was open and gave us a much needed fresh orange juice!! The view of the bar and terrace is breath taking and the staff super friendly. This place is now the surprise I give to my visitiors and my motivation to keep walking when sendero azzuro gets tought !!! See you in my next trip to 5t

While we explored the five villages of Cinque Terre, this gem between Corniglia & Vernazza has the most stunning view!

It’s a small bar/ cafe located on the blue hiking trail C5 which connects all of the Cinque Terre villages. The terrace view is just breathtaking as you can see. 🍊 Besides fresh orange juice, lemonade, and coffee, they offer juicy watermelon & some local finger foods.
