Toyosaka Shrine's history began on June 15, 1874, with the enshrinement of Inari Okami. By August 1891, a shrine was built to house Okunitama Okami, and it officially became Eniwa Shrine on September 25, 1891. It merged with Toyoei Shrine in 1901, adopting its current name. The main shrine building was completed in 1934, and it was recognized as a village shrine in 1935 and a town shrine in 1936.
The current shrine structure was finished in September 1981, followed by office renovations in 1985. Two associations, the God-Pious Women's Association (1987) and Keisaikai, a mikoshi-carrying youth group (1988), were later established, contributing to the shrine's cultural and religious activities.
I visited this with my siblings and even if this place is located in the heart of the city, its ground is still undeniably relaxing thanks to the large trees in it.

住宅街のド真ん中に鎮座されてました 。 一歩 、中に入ると別世界のようです 。 と 、言いたいところですが 例大祭の真っ最中でした 。 賑やかったら ありゃしない 。 演舞場ではカラオケをしてたり それこそ空手の演舞を披露してたりと … まわりは露店が立ち並び 子供達が走り回ったりして 活気にあふれ いい感じでした 。
