I know is a hut, but the rooms where like sleeping on the floor. Just a fine protection. To me it was as sleeping in the floor. I put the sleeping bag as bed trying to have a little bit more comfort, but not enough at all. Moreover, the backpacks are placed in the rooms, which are shares, and being people who want to see sunrise at the summit of Mt Fuji. There is people making noise from 1:30h to 4h (those last ones, are those who wants to see the sunrise wherever. To me that selected this hut for sleeping after arriving to summit and in the middle of the descending path, I could not rest. It was a nightmare. Dinner clearly insuficient in my opinion. Just rice and sauce. After climbing 1,276 meters and descending around 550. Is not enough dinner to recover all energy spent. There is not any living room where to stay previous to go sleep. It's a potty because the place is really...

No flexibility in meal times, missed dinner by 20 minutes, and we were denied even boiling water. Uncomfortable with a male staff constantly near the toilet. These issues significantly marred our experience.
Our friends stayed at New Station #7, and everything was much better. But I highly recommend the stay at Station #9. It will take 30 more mins for the first hike, but it will be worth it, the warm food, facilities, and jidohanbaiki with...
