Very traditional establishment. To dine we had to remove our shoes. In our room, we slept on pads on the floor with pillows. The chairs also had no legs and sat on the floor. A great experience of the traditional Japanese onsen-ryokan! You have a wonderful view of the Lake Hamana and can relax at the inside and outside baths with thermal water running into the baths. You also are served with traditional Japanese kaiseki ryori: many small dishes beautifullly served. ||This is how the Japanese go on a traditional vacation.
