I came here looking for a gift for my father, who collects Japanese dishware. The lady shop owner was very friendly, courteous, and showed us around the shop. There were many lovely designs in a variety of colors and patterns.
I picked out a teacup made with sacred sand from the Itsukushima shrine, imprinted with maple leaves on one side and a design resembling the outline of Miyajima on the other side. The craftsmanship of their Osuna ware is truly remarkable, reflecting the rich cultural heritage of the region. I was particularly fascinated by how they incorporate sacred sand from Itsukushima Shrine into their pottery, making each piece not only beautiful but also meaningful. The atmosphere in the studio is warm and inviting, and the staff are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about their craft. I highly recommend joining one of their pottery painting workshops for a hands-on experience! It's a perfect way to connect with the local culture while creating a unique souvenir. Don't miss this gem when you're...

I purchased a momiji (maple leaf) cup and they packaged it exceptionally. This is an amazing store with incredible people and I would highly recommend you take the time to visit if you are in the area and...
