Hiroshima Ramen Momiji Miyajima-guchi Shop — Restaurant in Hatsukaichi

Just came back to land from a ship ride from Miyajima. I was hungry, thus looked at google maps for dinner. I found this shop that is open even at about 5pm and within walking distance. It is located in small building that looked like a mall beside the ferry terminal, the place is quiet and has few people.

I got the Ajitama Hiroshima Ramen from the self-service machine. It tasted good and the price was quite reasonable.

It was pretty empty and quiet. There are outdoor seats that overlooks the tram station. But sadly it was raining on the day.

Oh yea, the place has a review for freebie promotion in place, so the rating could be slightly inflated.

Located on the second floor of Hiroden etto, you can consult the menu of ramen, tsukemen and fried foods before entering. Thereafter, order your food from an ordering machine. With each menu item, there are options for add-ons such as gyoza. Upon finding a table, pass the receipt to one of the service staff. Ice cold water is served as well, which is great given the summer heat. I was rather impressed that the food arrived quickly. I visited Hiroshima Ramen and was pleasantly surprised by the quality and flavor of the food. The broth was rich and savory, with a perfect balance of umami. The noodles had just the right texture—firm and chewy—and absorbed the soup beautifully. The toppings were fresh and generous, especially the tender slices of pork and the perfectly soft-boiled egg.

The service was fast and polite, and the atmosphere was clean and casual, ideal for a quick but satisfying meal.
