Peaceful and out of the way for such a beautiful shrine. Be sure to visit the second shrine up the stone steps across the road after visiting the main shrine grounds. Parking was a little confusing, we possibly just missed the right...

七月二日の大祭が朝の4時から執り行われ、この日は岩戸を開きその前で玉串を奉納する正式参拝 をすることができます。 (新型コロナ前は中に入って参拝できましたが、今は扉のところで参拝です) 岩戸開きのところで参拝するには3000円以上の 玉串料を納めると玉串とお札をいただきます。

御朱印も大祭の日限定の特別御朱印があります。
