Has got to be one of the finest stylist & barbershops in Iwakuni or perhaps in Yamaguchi. And unlike other higher end stylists, it does not require a week's appointment in advance.
For those that don't know the difference between a stylist and a barber, barbers would primarily use clippers to cut hair whilst a stylist is just the name implies: styling hair. It is 1500 yen for a barber cut and roughly 2750 yen for a stylist cut (or at least, it was for my razor skin fade).
This is actually a lot less than what I have paid back in the States; which is usually around $30 + tip. $10 for a dry barber cut. Not to mention, the stylist cut also includes a straight razor fade (yes-actual skin), shave, eyebrows, shampoo wash and they are savvy enough to enough accommodate line-ups and hard parts.

I don’t like that you are barely walking in and everyone is telling you to grab a ticket and sit at the bench. I’m trying to ensure my kid stays in one area but they continue hurrying me. Separately, they don’t like kids sitting with the adults while waiting. Some of the staff gets annoyed when you try to tell them to make the sides even (they usually leave one side longer / shorter than the other). Also, they will sit you but you have to wait an additional 15 minutes for a barber to start cutting your hair. And because it is crowded, they try rushing your haircut.
