Kohnan Kadoma Tonoshima — Local services in Kadoma

Edit: I buy a lot of gardening supplies from this particular Kohnan and basically haven’t had issues with their products but on the couple of occasions when I have tried to return products, I have found the store policies to be rigid and anti-customer. Based on a recent interaction of this type at this particular store, downgrading review from 4 to 3 stars.

Anyhow, the store is divided into two buildings which can be a little inconvenient but the staff are good at directing customers to the correct building. Although Kohnan is primarily famous as a home center, they also carry inexpensive work clothes and shoes and occasionally even in larger foreigner friendly sizes. I’ve also had good experiences with inexpensive furniture and storage boxes from this store.

The garden shop is in the average size range for Kohnans and has all the basics like pots, soil, rocks, and of course plants but I would like to see the gardening area increased in size. The main gardener there is knowledgeable and she has been helpful in directing me to slightly obscure products like root growth hormones but it doesn’t seem like she is there every day. One thing that would be helpful would be more labeling by the store about which plants are annuals, perennials and temperature tolerances. I went to one fun mini-event that was about the basics of planting succulents. Participants were allowed to select five or six plants and then shown how to pot them. 普通、ゴキブリって人が居る明るい場所にこんな堂々と現れるものでしょうか？ どうして叩くなりホウ酸団子やコンバットを置くなり対処しないのでしょうか？ その場所が危険だと学べば、そんな風に出てこなくなる筈だと思うのですが… 掃除や世話はちゃんとしているのでしょうか？

何より、そんな環境で店員さん達が普通に事務仕事？をしていた姿はかなり異様に見えました。 店舗に意見しようと思ったのですが、住所氏名電話番号まで書き込まないとメールが送れなくて、個人情報について特に何も記されてないし、こちらに書き込みます。

品揃えも価格も満足です。リニューアルされてきれいです。 どちらかというと業務用というか庶民用というかそんな感じなのであまりおしゃれなものを期待して行かないほうがいいです。 手軽におしゃれ系ならカインズに行ったほうが手っ取り早いです。丈夫さ安さ重視ならコーナンかな。シマホは都会っ子向けであまり品揃えもありません。

古紙回収コーナーとたしか精米コーナーが駐車場奥にあります。

園芸コーナー側の建物が資材、金物、作業服で、エスカレーターで上った2階がペット、自転車、車用品、事務品です。 もうひとつの建物が洗剤、トイペ、化粧品、靴タオル、階段で上った2階が食器、鍋、収納家具、小型家電置いてます。
