すぱゆばら 岡山湯原温泉 — Local services in Maniwa

Nice room, nice view, nice hot water kettle, and nice decor in the room. Big bottle of water included in the refrigerator but we decided not to drink it just because it was free.

However, the negatives that I found: hot water in the room was turned off completely and we had no option of turning it back on; had cold water during the winter for our entire stay two light bulbs stopped working during our stay so our room was dim in a third of the area; the owner did not bother maintaining the function of the lights the futon mattresses had particles on them charged us extra the onsen fee when we did not even use the onsen the onsen off the whole time everyday and was turned on only the scheduled time slot that we must schedule with them; there is no convenience of using the onsen whenever you like during the stay, but will be charged the fee we know that times are tough with the ongoing pandemic and saw that the hotelier was trying to save electricity and water by having them turned off except for when we were scheduled to go use the shower so we purposely didn't shower during our stay as to not inconvenience or incur additional costs to the hotel. The hotel still charged us the extra onsen fee at the end of our stay. Despite the charge being cheap it still left a bitter taste. We even cleaned up our own trash and chose not to use the included towels or yukatas.

I wasn't going to mentioned the frugality of the hotel but them having charged us the onsen fee when we didn't even use the onsen/shower during our 2 days was sneaky, disappointing, and disheartening in our eyes after we had tried to be so courteous and thoughtful towards the hotel. We hope that they try to fix this since bad reviews aren't what people want to be issuing out during these tough times for customer...

I had the pleasure of staying here for a long-term work trip. It was fantastic, and I couldn't ask for a better place to stay. The accommodations were comfortable, the view was breathtaking, the room was well equipped, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. It truly became a home...

　シルバーウィークの中日に利用しました。朝食付き7000円程度でした。||　湯原温泉街の入口側にあります。砂湯まで徒歩で5~6分程度の場所です。宿の前に6,7台車の駐車スペースがありますが、私の時には目の前の河川敷の駐車場（市営？）に停めるよう言われました。||　玄関にはサンダルや傘が置いてあり、砂湯に行くときなどに借りられます。砂湯に行くためにフロントでタオルを借りましたが、タオルを持ってきてもらうまでに数分待ちました。直ぐ借りられると思ったので、いささか驚きました。||　全体的にくたびれた館内でしたが、清潔感はありました。従業員さんの方々は家族？フロントの女性と男性の掛け合いがビジネスライクではなく、アットホームな感じでした。従業員さん達の服装も私服で客と同じに見えて、初めは少しびっくりしました。フロントの女性の方には、散歩に出るたびに「いってらっしゃいませ！」と言って頂けました。||　夕食・朝食ともにロビー横の食事処で摂ります。朝食しか摂りませんでしたが、家庭的な料理でした。（ご飯、味噌汁、卵焼き、サラダ、納豆、味付け海苔、御新香）。味噌汁は3種類の出汁から取ったものらしく、上品なお味でした。ご飯はお代わり可能です。||　泊まった部屋はバスなしトイレ（ウォッシュレットタイプ）つきの和室でした。部屋に入った瞬間、大きなバッタのような昆虫が布団についていました。駆除するのに備えつきのティシュを使いましたが、このティシュが残り数枚だったようで、昆虫を駆除したら無くなってしまいました。部屋には予備のティシュ箱はなく、面倒だったのでフロント対応もしてもらいませんでした。||　洗面台はシャワーノブつきで、清潔でした。||　浴場は、2Fの方を利用しました。内風呂のみでしたが、必要十分でした。給水器があったら良かったのに、と思いました。||　総合的に考えると値段相応でしたが、不便さは余りありませんでしたし、...
