As most people would bought the "入湯手形" that can enjoy 3 hot springs in different hotels during their stay, seems nearly nobody would pay for this public bath.

川沿いにある混浴の共同浴場。100円。 真上に同じ名前の駐車場があるが公共駐車場利用する必要がある模様。 溶存物質1000mg未満の弱酸性単純温泉となっているが、薄濁で「ほぼ」ナトリウム-硫酸塩・塩化物泉と言って良い。 分析書表記ではPH3.3となっているが、自前のPH計では2.56との表示。100円でこの湯はかなり良い。 手前側のぬる湯は41℃、奥の熱湯は46℃とかなり熱い。地元民らしき年配の方はかき混ぜながら入ってたが普通はまず無理。 ぬる湯は無味無臭だが、熱湯の方は無臭ながら若干の金気味(金属食べたことないが) 入り口を開けると脱衣所の前に洗い場と浴槽のが目の前にある、潔い造り。 跳ね上げ式の窓を開けると真横にある川が見えて風情良し。但し対岸から丸見えに。

Yes it’s quite basic without any amenity, and you are likely to be surprised by unknowing tourist bursting into the scene (well, you could see it ALL when you push open the gate from outside) when you bath in it naked, but it’s 100% local onsen not catering for the visitors and it only cost you a tiny fortune of 100 ten donation. This is a nice little unstaffed hot spring. I arrived at the place at 7:20am and I was the only one there. The water quality isn't anything special. Other hot springs in Kurokawa have better water quality. However, the water here comes up naturally from the ground (it's not pumped), which is fairly uncommon. All in all it was...
