黒川温泉 予祝 よしゅく — Restaurant in Minamioguni

We discovered this restaurant more or less by accident while searching for a vegetarian option inside Kurokawa Onsen. Some of their Rice Noodle options are vegetarian. The meal was really tasty, the local beers they offer were really good, and the staff was incredibly friendly, and was very understanding of our baby that was being fussy when we were there. Had a great snack here post onsen. it was beautifully presented, very yummy ( i had the kumamoto beef), and was able to be done #gluten free which was excellent news for my gluten free stomach! it's a small menu, but it all looked very tasty. It's got a modern interior, with a bar on the left side by the kitchen, and a few tables on the right side, overlooking the river. Experienced service staff put you at ease, appearing at the right moment but otherwise just leaving you to enjoy....

We chanced upon this restaurant by accident. They showed us to a nice window seat overlooking the bridge and river, it was nice to soak in the views and atmosphere. We ordered the hamburg set and beef curry udon. Beef was really tender and cooked well. The hamburg sauce was really tasty. As for the curry udon, it had a soft mochi texture, unlike any other udon you get to eat in the mass market....
