Located just right next to Kanayama metro station, this is generally a modest shopping center, it's spiral and uniquely designed over a few storeys in height and spacious but there's lack of an anchor tenant, with only a few specialty and boutique stores. So there weren't many people during our visit there and nothing much or interesting to see or shop. We stopped by here for a visit since it's only one metro stop from Nagoya station to make full use of our JR pass. But we left after a good 25mins. In terms of shopping and food, I think Nagoya station maybe a much better place to go!

It is a outdoor community mall so you might feel hot when shopping, but at least, they do have quite a lot of shops and restautants, as it is just adjacent to the Kanayama station, it is really convenient for the shoppers. At the atrium, they hold quite a lot of functions and shows with pop singers from time to time.

Don't be deceived, what looks like a small carnival is actually the outside food/shopping area of Kanayama Station. Highly recommend visiting with a friend or two and walking around. Some days there are events on the main stage in the centre. Many of the restaurants are quite expensive, but very tasty.

Pretty great place. Has a few good places to eat and drink, a great gym, and a very over priced grocery store. It's usually clean, it's safe, and they have live music almost every day. It can get pretty crazy on the weekend, but it's people having a good time, so whatever. Plenty of bathrooms, but there are a few homeless people who hole up around the place, including bathroom stalls. Overall a good place to spend a...
